Editorial standards

Small and Owned covers Build small, own everything, live well. We publish across Automate, Build, Business Profiles and Sell, in English and Spanish, and these are the rules we work to.

• Human review: nothing appears on Small and Owned without a responsible editor reading it and answering for it.
• No invented facts: what we cannot verify, we do not assert. Where a figure is an estimate, we label it.
• Where AI helps: AI may assist with a draft or a translation; the judgement, the checking and the sign-off are a person's.
• Commissioned work: Small and Owned accepts sponsored and guest articles. They are always labelled and never blended into editorial judgement.
• Visible corrections: write to hello@smallandowned.com with the headline and the link; we correct and note material changes.
